Biography
Yana is a Principal, Legal Consultant and the Head of EMEA Enforcement based in our Dubai office.
Yana joined Rouse in 2013 where she was country manager for Russia until 2022. She has been practicing IP law since 2007 and has a wide range of IP enforcement and prosecution experience, including developing and managing IP enforcement regional programmes and filling strategies for major rights owners in many industry sectors not limited to F&B, luxury, sports apparel, energy, automotive, telecommunications, and personal care industries.
Yana has been involved in litigation before various courts, representing clients in trade mark and copyright infringement cases, domain name recovery and unfair competition matters.
With broad and extensive practical experience, Yana is leading our EMEA Enforcement service. She has been building and coordinating online/offline enforcement programmes; complex IP infringements; anti-counterfeiting projects, including cross-border activities; evidence gathering and litigation supervising. In addition Yana is well based for providing advice in the fields of IP-related commercial, strict, and complex legal issues, including regulatory compliance, data protection, and advertising spheres.
