James Godefroy

James is a consultant based in our Guangzhou office.  He advises on IP dispute resolution, anti-counterfeiting strategy and the enforcement of IP rights on the Internet.

Prior to joining Rouse in February 2013, James worked in-house at a specialist computer games company negotiating commercial agreements for IP assets to be used in console games.

James was previously based in our London office where he worked on UK trade mark disputes and multinational anti-counterfeiting programmes for leading consumer brands. He has experience in devising and implementing online and offline IP enforcement programmes in Europe, South America and South East Asia.

James has worked with a wide range of clients, from start-ups to multinationals, and in business sectors as varied as automotive, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and software including gaming and mobile apps.
