Rouse celebrates British business in Vietnam with community events
Celebrating 45 years of diplomatic relations between the UK and Vietnam
This month Rouse's Hanoi office have been celebrating 45 years of diplomatic relations between the UK and Vietnam, taking part in a Charity Fun Run organised by the British Business Group Vietnam (BBGV) and attending the British Embassy's InspireMe Festival.
On 4th November the team joined BBGV's 18th Charity Fun Run which took place at Eco Park, just outside Hanoi. The charity run was a great way for companies to raise money for worthy causes across Vietnam – last year 900 million VND were raised for charity with 10,000 people taking part. There was also entertainment, including a flash mob dance, a family picnic, a prize draw and a chance to hear some live music.
The following week, Rouse Hanoi staff and their families joined the British Embassy's InspireMe Festival. This was the first festival of its kind in Hanoi and saw exhibitions on education, business, innovation, tourism and food and drink in Hanoi's old quarter as well as fashion shows and live music. This included a performance from the London Symphony Orchestra at Hoan Kiem Lake, a well-known tourist attraction in the centre of Hanoi.
