Corporate Social Responsibility

We are committed to managing our business in a way that has a positive impact on all stakeholders and the communities in which we operate. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is integral to our business and values.

For many years we have valued being, not just good members of the intellectual property community, but supportive members of our local communities. Rouse Cares brings together and guides our community initiatives and related activites.  We aspire to take a broad global approach with a strong local focus by seeking to make a difference in the countries in which we operate and in the wider regions.

Our major CSR launch was in 2008 when we gathered together to discuss short, mid and long-term initiatives that would benefit our workplace, our community and our environment.  From this emerged ideas that were implemented one of which was to form a CSR group named 'Rouse Cares'. Such group pledged to meet regularly to plan and co-ordinate activites. Rouse Cares seeks to bring together, to record, to support and to guide all of our efforts - everything from turning a light off to providing pro bono advice to worthy causes. Since then our offices and individual employees have continued to support various charities and initiatives globally. 

One of our core values at Rouse is to support each other. This was illustrated when our own employees in Manila and Bangkok were affected by severe floods and lost their homes. The Rouse community quickly leapt into action with emotional and financial support to re-house them.
