For the past 14 years, Ling Jin has led our China IP commercial practice which including IP transactions, IP advisory, marketing, advertising and digital law, FDI law and regulatory advice

Ling Jin has 25 years of legal experience in the fields of IP, technology law and media law, as a partner in Rouse (based in Rouse’s Shanghai office) and previously as a legislator in the State Council of the PRC for 10 years, where she involved in over 50 pieces of legislation concerning technology, education, IP, media, and pharmaceuticals.

In Rouse, Ling heads our China IP transactions and Marketing, Advertising and Digital (MAD) law practice. International companies often call upon her for China regulatory and market access advice and she regularly advises clients on a wide range of transactional IP issues from technology transfers and R&D cooperation agreements to IP management strategies, due diligence and audits as well as MAD law advisory work. She is also well known for her IP government lobbying projects. In addition to her commercial expertise, Ling has advised on a number of high profile patent, copyright and trade mark litigation cases.
