Philippa has a practical interest in Intellectual Property Law and its various applications. Before starting her articles, she completed an internship at the US Copyright Office in Washington D.C. She has a particular interest in innovative businesses and copyright matters in the digital environment.
Philippa is currently completing her Master’s in Intellectual Property Law through Stellenbosch University and is finalising her Master’s thesis which focuses on the intersections between Intellectual Property Law and Human Rights Law. She is also in the process of completing the requisite examinations to qualify as a trade mark attorney.
