Leo Tang is a Chinese Patent Attorney. His main focus is on patent applications, patent administrative & civil litigation, conducting freedom to operate searches and undertaking assessment reports and patent prosecutions both in China and abroad. He is a PRC licensed lawyer at Lucheng Law Firm, Rouse's associated firm in China.
Prior to joining the firm, Leo worked as in-house Legal Counsel with the multinational company, Hong Hai, focusing on patent drafting and prosecution in the fields of computer software, telecommunications and electrical engineering in China and the US.
Leo has also worked as a Patent Attorney for Dragon IP and Baker & McKenzie. In his 11 year career, he has provided professional patent services to many international companies, including Foxconn, Intel, Microsoft, NTT Docomo, ThyssenKrupp, Huawei and Lenovo. Leo obtained his Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2000.
