Kevin is a U.S. licensed patent attorney working in Shanghai at Rouse.
Kevin was a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office where he granted patents to many international companies and was also involved with provisional applications, divisional applications, and appeals to the Board of Patent Appeals and Interference. During law school, he worked as a patent analyst in Washington D.C. where he performed patentability, invalidity and patent infringement search and analysis. Before joining Rouse, he worked as an IP lawyer for U.S. law firms in Michigan and California representing Fortune 500 companies to small start-ups.
Currently, Kevin's practice focuses on client counseling, patent procurement, patent portfolio development and management, patentability and freedom-to-operate opinions, and patent due diligence for the Chinese and U.S. markets.
Kevin is conversationally fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
